I’M RACHEL

Your new go-to motivator, support system, and running coach!

I work with clients who are passionate about improving their running performance while also looking to create a relationship with running that EXCITES them.

I develop customized training plans founded on:

accountability

It’s my goal to meet you where you are and develop a custom training plan that fits your lifestyle and schedule in order to maximize your fitness progression.

But ultimately, my goal is for training to fit into your life and provide JOY!

How does online coaching work?

Great question! First, you’ll book a free consultation below. You’ll answer a few questions on the booking form so that I can get an idea of your current training, previous races, and your overall goals.

Then we’ll hop on the phone to connect and chat about what you are looking for and where you want to be.

Based on the information that you provide and our discussion, I’ll create a personalized training plan that is specific to your current fitness level and goals.

Your custom training plan will be accessible and updated in VDOT02, a convenient online coaching app, every 1-2 weeks as you progress.

As you complete each run, I will review the stats and provide feedback and support as needed. When race day approaches, I’ll coach you through it with your own personal race strategy so you feel equipped for the task ahead and ready to crush your goals!

As your coach, I am available for questions and concerns via text, email, or phone along the way.

How will we communicate?

VDOT02 is a convenient and easy way to track your workouts, stats, and communicate with me, your running coach. It’s the hub of our work together.

You’ll record your runs with a Garmin watch or Strava account which seamlessly syncs with VDOT02. This will give me all the information I need to make custom recommendations that will work for YOU and are specific to your performances.

I’ll update your training plan in VDOT02 in 1-2 week increments. The workouts will appear in a calendar format with detailed instructions for the day.

A VDOT02 membership is included with all of my coaching packages and can be accessed via a computer or mobile app.

Why Work With Me?

I wasn’t always a “runner”.

In fact, I wasn’t even an athlete growing up!

My journey with running started post-college as a way to stay in shape. But then it turned into much more.

Today running to me is about testing and stretching myself. I love the feel of accomplishment and the escape it provides.

My coaching experience started unknowingly through years of self-coaching.

Once I got serious about training for and running half marathons, I began consuming all of the running information I could get my hands on.

Over time, I have come to realize that sharing this love with others and helping others reach their goals is my true passion in life.

Through run coaching, I am able to work one-on-one with runners of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities who are passionate about getting better.

No dream is too big and I’m here to help support you every step of the way in achieving your running goals!

When I’m not on the track, I’m living life in Carmel, Indiana (life-long Hoosier here!) with my husband Justin, our twins Owen and Olivia, daughter Claire, and mini-bernedoodle puppy Boston! I’m always dreaming up my next vacation somewhere warm (and with lots of running paths of course!) and also enjoy exploring the outdoors with my family.
